In August last year, I quit my job as a software engineer. My aim was to spend my time more productively, photographing the landscapes, people and wildlife of the mountains. I rode my newly purchased Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise as far and as long as I could, to travel to different parts of the Himalayan range, in India, Nepal and Bhutan.

Itinerary: I started from Chandigarh. A more detailed trip outline is in the story, but these are some of the stops along the way:  Manali, Himachal Pradesh – Leh, Jammu and Kashmir – Gangotri, Uttarakhand – Tatopani, Nepal – Darjeeling, West Bengal – Zuluk, Sikkim – Bumthang, Bhutan – Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh –  Dimapur, Nagaland – Shillong, Meghalaya. I ended my journey at Guwahati, Assam.
