Rohit Chakravarty is a postgraduate of the Wildlife Biology & Conservation program at the Wildlife Conservation Society-India and National Centre for Biological Sciences. He has studied bats in the Andaman Islands and Uttarakhand, and the focus of his research is currently on cataloguing the echolocation calls of bats to understand their natural history. He co-authored the book, ‘Naturalist’s Guide to the Mammals of India’. He posts as @paintedbat on Instagram.
