Writing Guidelines

Before You Publish

We have created this forum for you to share stories and be part of meaningful and constructive conversations.

Here’s a quick set of guidelines to follow:

  1. No plagiarism.

Write in your own words, and credit any source you draw from.

  2. Fact-check before you publish.

Don't share claims you haven't verified.

  3. Stay on topic.

Keep your story or comment connected to nature, wildlife, and conservation.

  4. Be respectful.

Disrespectful language towards any being in nature will not be tolerated.

  5. Protect sensitive locations.

If your story involves wildlife that's vulnerable, avoid sharing exact locations that could put them at risk.

  6. Don't pass off staged work as wild.

If a photo or story was staged, baited, or shot in captivity, don't present it as wild. Share only if it helps in narrating your story.

  7. No promotion of harmful activity.

Nothing that encourages poaching, illegal wildlife trade, or unsafe interactions with animals.

  8. No spam or self-promotion.

This isn't the place to market a tour, product, or service.

  9. No AI-generated or manipulated work.

AI-generated or manipulated photos, videos, or accounts of encounters are not allowed, and if flagged, will be deleted.

  10. We reserve the right to moderate.

Stories that don't meet these guidelines may be removed.

We appreciate your help in keeping this forum honest, informative, and inspiring for everyone.
