Art in Nature

Dhimant Vyas is a veteran Artist and Animation Film Designer and an alumnus of the National Institute of Design (NID).

He has worked on the famous Shaun the Sheep (series two), Creature Comforts USA at the multiple Academy Award winning Animation Studio – Aardman Animation Ltd U.K.

He is a versatile artist using different mediums including paint, animation, sculpture, photography, design. He has worked on the title animation sequence for the highly-acclaimed Hindi feature film Taare Zameen Par, which was directed by Aamir Khan and with brands like the BBC, UNICEF, MTV, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. His work in Taare Zameen Par, Happy Planet, Cute Bunny, MTV promos and photography has won him several national and international awards.

At Nature inFocus in August 2017, he talked about how to use art and a strong aesthetic to create frames that tell a beautiful story. In that he also combines the power of photography and art.
