Lessons in Photography

Trevor Frost is a photographer, filmmaker, and National Geographic Explorer and grantee. He completed his first feature story - The Grass Eating Monkeys of Ethiopia - for National Geographic Magazine (April 2017)  at the age of 29. He was named one of the top 80 emerging photographers in the world by the LookBetween Photography Festival, an offshoot of the Look3 Photography Festival founded by renowned photographer Nick Nichols. With support from the National Geographic Society, Trevor is currently working on a long-term photo essay about crocodiles and people and how their lives intertwine in Northern Australia.

At Nature inFocus, 2017, Trevor spoke about his body of work with a special focus on crocodiles, orangutans and geladas.
