A Plough to the Pelican

The photographer witnessed this cruel scene where a pelican that was caught in fishnets was bludgeoned to death with a plough by labourers working in the salt pans. The incident highlights the devastating impacts of human activities on wildlife and the urgent need for better regulations and enforcement to protect vulnerable species. The photographer had no time to intervene as the labourers immediately left the vicinity.
