Anuja Mital is an independent herpetologist from Mumbai, currently working on the Black Softshell Conservation Project in the Brahmaputra River system in Assam. Before this she was fortunate enough to spend time working on trapping turtles along the Ganga River and its tributaries. She is also the co-founder of Freshwater Turtles and Tortoises of India (FTTI). She posts as @anujamital on Twitter and Instagram.
