A slow-shutter shot of a firefly larva crawling across dry foliage on the forest floor leaves behind a glowing motion trail. Firefly larvae spend most of their lives in the soil, only coming out at night to hunt.

Aniket Rangnath Thopate's photography aims to shine a light on urban wildlife, showcasing the biodiversity we encounter every day. He began pursuing photography after completing his engineering degree and then went on to pursue a Diploma in Art and Photography from J.J School of Applied Arts.
