Being anadromous, Pink Salmons hatch eggs in freshwater bodies and then migrate to saltwater ecosystems to feed. The image portrays the spawning migration of the species. To ensure that the salmon are not disturbed, Geoffrey placed his camera on the shoreline and waited for the fish to enter the 'spawning channel' from the adjacent river.
