Ice Bear

By mid-November, most Grizzly Bears would be in hibernation, but there are always a few around, feasting on late salmon runs, even in the deathly cold of deep winter. Similar to humans, animals also find it hard to navigate the deep snow, and often, wolves, lynxes and other animals use human-made trails. Aware of this, Geoffrey set up a camera trap along one of his trails and got lucky. With the help of a single flash from the side, tilted slightly upwards, he was able to capture both the bear and the falling snow.
